Chinese Paintings
Having studied Chinese painting techniques in depth with two Chinese artists in the UK for many years and attended workshops in Beijing and Xian art academies in China with well known Chinese artists, my "Chinese Paintings" are my own style of using the Oriental composition and brush painting. Having been shown by Cai Xioli how to interpret English landscape in the Chinese way, my landscapes are my personal style of doing this. Three of my large landscapes are in the art collection of the former lord lieutenant of Derbyshire.
All of these paintings are done on untreated Xuan paper then mounted in the traditional Chinese way onto another sheet of Xuan paper. The paintings are very thin (cartridge weight). They could be supplied in a mount, or rolled up in a tube.
